Pokémon Gold full Johto clear: 8 gyms, Elite Four, Champion. Kanto is post-game. Do not skip gym flags.

    New Bark to Falkner (badge 1)

    Elm's egg errand. Falkner flying: electric/rock.

  2. Bugsy (badge 2)

    Ilex Cut. Fire/Flying. Sprout Tower for EXP.

  3. Whitney (badge 3)

    Miltank rollout: status or fighting. Do not tank it.

    Ecruteak ghost gym. Follow the tower story.

    Cianwood fighting. Flying/psychic. Surf opens west Johto.

Yes. GBC is still light. Set the emulator to GBC core.

No. Load .gbc.

How do I beat Whitney?

Status, grind, or a fighting type. Miltank rollouts hurt if you stay in.

Gold vs Crystal?

Crystal is a later Johto version. This page is Gold. Same emulator, different ROM.
