How to calculate hours worked on a time card
You have a week of clock-in and clock-out times and want the hours, the overtime and the pay. You will enter each shift once and read the totals. Five shifts of 09:00–17:30 with a 30-minute break are 40 hours; a Saturday morning on top makes 45, with 5 hours of overtime. Nothing leaves this tab.
Open the time card calculator with your shift times at hand. Enter unpaid breaks only; paid breaks count as work. Overtime rules differ by country and contract, so set the threshold and multiplier to match yours. Nothing is uploaded.

Collect start, end and break
For each day you need the clock-in time, the clock-out time and the unpaid break in minutes. One shift = end − start − break: 09:00 to 17:30 is 8 hours 30 minutes, minus 30 minutes is 8 hours.

Change the start, end and break per row. Add shift adds a sixth day; × removes a row. A row marked ! has a missing time or a break longer than the shift.
Handle night shifts
If the end time is earlier than the start, the shift runs past midnight: 22:00 to 06:00 is 8 hours and shows a ☾. Do not split it into two days.
Read overtime and pay
Add Saturday 09:00–14:00 with no break: total 45:00, regular 40:00, overtime 5:00. With a rate of 20 and the default 1.5×, gross pay is 800 + 150 = 950.00.
45 hours in a week with a 40-hour threshold: 40 regular + 5 overtime at 1.5×. Convert to decimal hours and copy
Payroll often wants decimal hours: divide minutes by 60, so 7:45 is 7.75. The totals show both forms. Copy puts them on the clipboard.
