FAQ
Can I convert text to speech here?
Yes. Paste text, pick a voice, and press Speak. The browser reads it with voices already on your device.
Is the text uploaded?
No. SpeechSynthesis runs in this tab. Closing it stops playback.
Can I download an MP3?
No. The browser voice engine does not give an audio file, so this tool only plays sound.
Why is the voice list empty?
Some browsers fill voices after a moment, or they have none installed. Chrome, Safari, and Edge usually work.
Does it support Chinese or other languages?
If your system has that language pack, it appears in the list. The page does not fetch cloud voices.
