  1. Add a photo or screenshot Drop, click, or paste. Or press Try a sample ID first.
  2. Drag a box over what to hide Black box for ID numbers, mosaic for faces. Undo removes the last box.
  3. Download Download one image or a ZIP. Export drops EXIF.

Does pixelating upload my photo?

No. The photo stays in this tab. The canvas replaces the pixels here. Closing the tab discards it. Export also strips EXIF.

Mosaic or black box?

Use a black box for ID numbers, card numbers, and QR codes. A fine mosaic can sometimes be guessed back. Use mosaic for faces and background clutter.

Can I redact a chat screenshot?

Yes. Drop the screenshot and drag over avatars, names, and phone numbers. Draw as many boxes as you need; Undo removes the last one. With several photos, each keeps its own boxes and you can download a ZIP.

Can I add a watermark after redacting?

Yes. On the same page, add a “for [org] use only” mark. Redaction is applied first, then the mark.

Can it remove a mosaic?

No. This only covers areas. It cannot restore pixels someone else covered. In your export the covered pixels are replaced, not hidden.
