FAQ

How are hours worked calculated?

For each shift, end time minus start time minus the unpaid break. 09:00 to 17:30 with a 30-minute break is 8 hours. The week's shifts are added up.

Is anything uploaded?

No. The times stay in this tab and are not stored.

Does it handle night shifts?

Yes. If the end time is earlier than the start, the shift runs past midnight: 22:00 to 06:00 is 8 hours. A moon mark shows next to those rows.

How is overtime counted?

Hours above the weekly threshold, 40 by default, are overtime and paid at the multiplier, 1.5 by default. Overtime rules differ by country and contract; set the threshold and multiplier to match yours.

How do I convert hours and minutes to decimal hours?

Divide the minutes by 60: 7:30 is 7.5 hours, 7:45 is 7.75. The totals show both forms.
