Can I remove EXIF here?
Yes. The tab re-encodes the photo, which drops EXIF, GPS, and similar tags.
Is the photo uploaded?
No. Decode and export stay in this tab. Closing it discards the file.
Does GPS go away too?
Yes. Location tags live in EXIF. The new file is drawn without that block.
Is this a forensic wipe?
No. It writes a new picture without the original metadata tags. It is not a guarantee against every hidden channel.
What can I download?
JPG, PNG, or WebP. The new file comes from a canvas redraw.
