FAQ
How do I use the metronome?
Set the BPM, choose the beats per bar and press Start. The first beat of each bar is higher when the accent is on.
What is tap tempo?
Press Tap in time with a song four or more times; the BPM follows the average of your last taps. A pause of two seconds starts over.
Is it accurate?
Clicks are scheduled on the Web Audio clock, not with timers, so they stay steady even when the page is busy.
Why is there no sound?
Check the volume slider, the device volume and the silent switch on phones. Some browsers pause audio in background tabs.
What do Andante and Allegro mean?
They are Italian tempo marks. Andante is a walking pace (about 76–108 BPM), Allegro is fast (about 120–156 BPM).
