FAQ
Is this a word counter?
Yes. It counts words, characters, sentences, paragraphs, lines, and a 200 wpm reading time.
How are Chinese or Japanese words counted?
Each CJK character counts as one word. Latin text still splits on spaces.
Is my text uploaded?
No. Counting is local. You can also open a text file from your device.
Does it count spaces?
Characters includes spaces. There is a separate count without whitespace.
What is reading time?
About 200 words per minute, rounded up to a whole minute.
