How to use a Pomodoro timer
You have a task that keeps slipping. You will work in 25-minute blocks with 5-minute breaks and a 15-minute break after four. The timer counts from the clock, chimes at each change and moves to the next phase by itself. Nothing leaves this tab.
Open the Pomodoro timer before you start the task, not during it. Write one task per block. Keep the tab open for the chime. Nothing is uploaded.

Pick one task
Write down the one thing for the next 25 minutes. Close chat and mail. A block that gets interrupted does not count; start it again.
Four 25-minute focus blocks with 5-minute breaks, then a 15-minute long break. Open Pomodoro timer on cv.cm
25-minute focus, 5-minute short break, 15-minute long break and 4 rounds are set. Nothing is uploaded.

The clock counts down and the tab title shows the time left, so you can switch tabs. At 00:00 a chime plays and the break starts by itself.
Rest at the chime
Stand up, drink water, do not open the task. After the 5-minute break the next focus block starts on its own. After four blocks the break is 15 minutes.
Pause or skip when needed
Pause stops the clock without losing time. Skip jumps to the next phase; a skipped focus block does not count toward the long break. Reset starts over from round 1.
Pause keeps the time left; Skip moves on without counting the block; Reset starts at round 1. Change the lengths
While stopped, set focus, short break and long break from 1 to 180 minutes and rounds from 1 to 12. 50/10 suits deep work; 15/3 suits chores. The current phase takes the new length right away.
