Controls
On a phone, use the on-screen pad. A Bluetooth gamepad works too.
Alter Ego is a 2011 NES homebrew port of a ZX Spectrum puzzle. Swap places with your ghost twin to reach every bouncing pixel.
Walkthrough
Alter Ego (Shiru freeware): swap with your twin, collect pixels, finish every room. ROM is hosted.
Swap
The twin mirrors you. Swap to stand on tiles only the ghost can reach. Think before you swap.
Rooms
Collect every bouncing pixel to open the exit. Late rooms need two swaps in a row. Reset the room if both bodies are stuck.
Clear
Finish all rooms for the ending. No commercial boss. Time attacks are optional.

Is Alter Ego free to play here?
Yes. It is freeware NES homebrew. The ROM is on our S3, not a commercial dump.
Who made it?
Shiru, 2011, based on Denis Grachev's Spectrum game. Source and manual shipped with the original zip.
Cheats?
None bundled. Use emulator save states.
Phone?
Yes. Small ROM, NES core, virtual pad.
Why is this on cv.cm?
So you can try the emulator immediately with a legal ROM while classic pages ask you to load your own file.
Emulator cores live on S3. A game starts from a hosted ROM when that file exists, or from a local file you pick. Local files are not uploaded.
