Walkthrough

Streets of Rage 2: 8 stages to Mr. X. Axel or Blaze for a first clear.

  1. Roster

    Roster

    Axel even, Blaze fast, Max heavy, Skate fragile. First clear: Axel/Blaze.

  2. Stages 1–3

    Stages 1–3

    Throw, eat when yellow, specials in crowds.

  3. Stages 4–6

    Boat, arena, elevators. Clear a wave before you push.

  4. Stages 7–8 and Mr. X

    Stages 7–8 and Mr. X

    Gun phase then melee. Dodge, combo, special at low HP. Credits.

Play on a phone?

Yes. A Bluetooth pad helps more than for Sonic.

No. Load a Mega Drive dump.

Same character two-player?

On many dumps, hold B and press Start on the portrait. Revisions differ.
